Hung works as a Certification Specialist for Preferred by Nature in Vietnam.
Sustainable forest management is the reasonable approach to harmonise the use of forest products while protecting environment and biodiversity. I believe I can make my contribution in this sector by working with Preferred by Nature.
Hung graduated from the Forestry Technical Academy, Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1991. He received his M.Sc. in forest resources/watershed management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand in 1996.
Following his graduation, he worked in forest inventory and planning for 14 years. From 2007 onwards, he worked for various international organisations and companies in conservation, sustainable forest management and forest certification.
Hung joined Preferred by Nature in January 2021.
